Capuchino IB Programme
At Capuchino High School, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme offers a rigorous curriculum that provides a holistic, international education to juniors and seniors. The curriculum is comprised of a traditional liberal arts core, accompanied by three additional program components: Theory of Knowledge, an interdisciplinary course, Extended Essay, a 4,000 word independently researched essay on a topic of special interest and the 150 hour CAS community service requirement. In addition, students will be assessed in subject areas.
Academic motivation is the key for student success in the IB Diploma Programme. A student with strong academic skills who is self-motivated and is willing to be challenged will benefit greatly from the Capuchino IB experience.
