We hope that your summer was restful. Thank you for your patience and courtesy while driving to and from school. Remember to use the Bus Loop or Main Lot for drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon.

Student Bulletin, 8/21/14

SOFTBALL:  Anyone interested in playing softball this year?  We are having sign ups and an informational meeting this Thursday afterschool at the softball field.  Please come by.

 

GIRLS GOLF:  Girl’s Golf team sign ups will be today, August 21st during lunch in front of the cafeteria.

 

JV GIRLS SOCCER:   JV girls soccer sign-ups August 25, 26, 27, 2014.  Meet at the softball field at 3:30p.m.

 

BASEBALL:  All students that will be trying out for baseball this year. There is a mandatory meeting Friday August 22 at lunch in the Main Gym.  We will be going over the tryouts and expectations for this year. 

 

CAN’T TOUCH THIS:  Senior tees can be ordered today -29th!  They will be $15 w/PAL and $17 w/out.  Don’t forget to purchase your shirt!

 

OUTDOOR ED:  Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors!  Outdoor Ed will start in September and run through May.  If you like being outdoors with 5th and 6th graders, want to improve leadership skills and earn community service points, then this is for you!  Remember, you must have at least a 2.0 grade point average, good attendance and no serious discipline problems.  Come to the main office to sign up with Ms. Quon or Ms. Ortiz during lunch or brunch.

 

GREEN AND GOLD RALLY:  Mustangs!  We will be having our first green and gold rally on August 28th!  Freshmen this is your first high school rally and seniors this is the beginning of the end!  So make sure to show your spirit and go all out in green and gold!

 

CLUBS:  Students interested in creating/advising a student club can pick up a club applications in the main office. There will be a mandatory club meeting today during lunch in room H225. The first Club Fair will take place August 28th. See Mr. Bywater for more details. 

 

CONFISCATED ITEMS:  This Friday will be the last day to pick up confiscated  items or electronic devices that were not picked up over the summer.  See Mr. Bywater.

 

GREEN AND GOLD FRIDAY:  Mustangs!  Remember, every Friday is Green and Gold Friday!

CROSS COUNTRY:  Cross Country team practice will begin today, 25 minutes after school ends. We will meet on the track. You must be cleared, have all paper work turned in, to practice. If you have questions see Mr. Trimble.

JAM SQUAD TRYOUTS!  Dancers of all styles are encouraged to audition for the dance team. Cap's "Jam Squad" is a team that performs at school rallies, sporting events and this year... Much more! Hospitality and Tourism Management Program at Skyline this Fall

Skyline College is offering 4 courses in Hospitatliy and Tourism Management for High School Students.
