CAASP Testing Schedule

The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) replaces the Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) Program. The primary purpose of the CAASPP assessment system is to assist teachers, administrators, and pupils and their parents by promoting high-quality teaching and learning through the use of a variety of assessment approaches and item types.  This includes the new Smarter Balanced Assessment field tests which are aligned with the Common Core State Standards. We will administer these assessments to students in Grades 10 and 11 during the month of April when we return from Spring Break.  Please see the detailed testing schedule below.

Colleges that Change Lives Special Presentation

Parents-If you're starting to think about college for your student, please mark your calendars for a presentation on "Colleges that Change Lives" to learn about some of the student-centered and smaller, but distinctive colleges that can provide more attention to your student vs the larger universities where your student is just a number. This presentation will be held at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center at 7pm on Tuesday, April 15. Both students and parents are invited to attend this free presentation presented by the GATE parents group.
